So I am looking to buy my first car ever , I came across a car from a place that sells used cars , I’ve seen the rest of the options they have and all the cars seem to look in great condition. But the car that caught my eye is a 2015 528i with 87k miles for 16k , I don’t know how many owners it’s had but I want to go and check it out. Should I consider getting it after I check it out ?

Lately i have been thinking of purchasing an e39, but i have no clue which engine should I get. How is the reliability on these engines? How is the aftermarket support for tuning modifications for them? I have no previous experience with any bmw, right now i drive a VW passat b5.5 1.9tdi 4motion

Is it worth shopping around for different cars or is the 2013 reliable enough to take a loan and not worry about getting screwed over? If anyone knows some common problems with the power train or pumps transmission whatever I would appreciate the info

Please forgive any newbie mistakes, we ve been camping for a month in pretty hot weather and my partner had to figure this all out for the first time.

It appears the last time a new AGM H8 95AH battery was installed in my 2010 BMW 528i a few month ago, the mechanic didn t register the battery. I learned that since the last battery wasn t registered and coded properly, the previous settings for an old BMW 110AH Lead Acid battery were being used for the newly installed AGM H8 95AH battery. That battery died relatively quickly (as expected based on what I ve read on Reddit about this) and my car wouldn t start even when jump started or trickle charged.
