Что о моторе можно сказать по нагару на свечах?
My Nissan altima is on the way out, and I am in the market to buy a new car, I have been looking at the new 2016 Mazda 6. I have heard some negative and positive things, mostly negative thi ngs, and how they are not as reliable as a honda or toyota.
The only Mazda car im looking at is the 2013 to 2016 Mazda 6 with the newest body style, I cant seem to get my eyes off of it. Now the only thing that scares me is having it break down and pour hundreds or thousands more into it. The only other car i am considering is the Honda Accord, granted it should go without saying I should get the Honda but I want something with a little more style and fun to drive.

Did you look at a 6 and go in a different direction? Did you have a 6 and upgrade or move laterally to something else that you like as much or more? What was it?
I have a 2020 6 Signature that I absolutely adore. I ve modded it a bit so it goes toe-to-toe (at least feel-wise) to an Audi S4, though of course I m missing that AWD.
The average fuel consumption is about 7,6 l/100 km, which is a lot imho. I‘ve owned a BMW 525 xD before, which does weigh more than the Mazda and it was about only 6,5 l/100 km, despite being automatic, 218 hp and awd.
I also tried to drive very very fuel efficient, but it almost made no difference. As soon as I easily step on the gas to accelerate, the fuel display rushes up to the max of 20 litres. It seems that even tiny steps onto the gas pedal increase the fuel consumption a lot.
Considering a new (used) car purchase in the near future as my current vehicle (2012 Honda Odyssey) is starting to cost more annually to repair than it’s worth (I’ve been quoted $2k to trade it in). I’d be looking in the low $20k range and have pretty much decided it’ll either be a Mazda 6 or a CX-5, 2018 or newer.
I’m not really sure which I would prefer. I’ve driven and enjoyed both. Generally I prefer sedans for looks, fuel economy, and driving feel. I loved the Mazda 6 that I test drove. It was fun to drive, relatively spacious, super sharp looking. Trunk and back seats were surprisingly big too.
