Hi, my workshop manufactures lift kits and suspension elements for the Pero Mini, Junor, iO, Pinin. Actual prices and products you will find on my site. If you have questions regarding the delivery and purchase, please contact us by email.
Yes, i made a few kit for iO \ Pinin but the cost is higher because lift-kit for iO includes monotube shock absorbers, like Rancho series rs5000. Price for 50mm lift kit 650 USD.
However, I am not content with just doing a reset on the ECU so I did a scan using Evoscan (I had a mitsubishi Lancer before the iO) and attached are the results.
What do you guys think might be the issue, or at least somwhere I can use as a starting reference point in diagnosing. Im suspecting either the fuel pump or Trottle body.
Do your Super Select 4WD indicator front wheel lights flash at switch on (before engine start) when you re in 2H?
The Super Select display has three lamps, one for the rear wheels, one for the center lock and one for the front wheels (the display shows four rectangles representing the four wheels, but the front & rear have one lamp that illuminates both rectangles) - I was reading a blog that I came across on troubleshooting the system, and it suggested that if the front wheel lights flash when the ignition is switched on, that there is a vacuum leak.

Has anyone replaced the bushes in the rear suspension trailing links? Did you use OEM spares? Where did you get them?
99 views and not a single reply - I guess I have one of the older vehicles, so you guys with newer cars haven t run into this yet - I ve checked ebay in the UK & Australia - lots of front bushes, but none for the rear, and by the way, ignore the Powerflex auctions that say they fit the iO, they have no clue what they are about.
The Pajero has struck back - after putting in 4x4 mode to go and play in the mud (cause I got new tyres and well needed to test them)
I''''''''d stick your head under the car and sus out the wires that plug into your transfer box, these can get snagged and torn off easily. Green flashing isn''''''''t too bad but orange center flashing will wear out your center diff lock
1.8L or 2.0L MPI engine - typically in non europe and japan countries
Note curved intake and larger inlet manifold that enters the SIDE of the engine
1.8L or 2.0L GDI engine below (with and without engine cover)
note the intake enters the TOP of the engine, not the side - and has twin camshafts
it s held in place with two screws and is adjustable L/R, I cannot understand if this is something I can adjust back to standard without a diagnostic unit etc.
I need to flip it 180deg and mount it upside down - this is possible due to the way it attaches however I ve got no idea how to tune it once I refit it.
we first need to know what we re dealing with - the 4G94 in the Pajero came in both MPI (multi-point-injection) and GDI (gasoline-direct-injection) - two very different technologies.
Do you see any GDI badges on the outside of the vehicle? Is there a GDI light on the dash? Is there a big plastic cover with the word GDI on it over the engine? Can you see the ignition coils on top of the engine - are there two coils or four?

Just had my wheels/tires rotated and had the vacuum hose (for the brakes, etc) replaced as it was cracked and a bit malformed due to being exposed to heat by the engine. Everything worked fine. I also tested the Super select by shifting from 2H to 4H, it worked fine. After that I then shifted to 4HLc, it also worked fine. But now when I tried to shift back to 4H, the shifter would no longer move. I tried reversing, moving the shifter left, right, top and bottom but it wouldn t budge.
I ve read from here http://pajerio.com/forum/stuck-4h and here http://pajerio.com/forum/gear-shift-stuck-4hc that most likely it could be the bushing or the ball that has broken down and could have jammed the super select rail.
